Value Lists

Are value lists only available for Custom Fields ?
I want to apply a value list for the column 'group' in the resource
sheet/view - but it doesn't seem to let me do it.

Any way round this ? [ or am I going down the VBA route - again! ]

Right you are on all counts.
Not possible, only through a form (VBA or other)
