Vanished mailbox

One day when I opened my Ooutlook, my mailbox was empty (the day
before it had contained more than 300 mails) but I could see behind
the word !Inbox" that I had 35 unread mails. The problem was that I
could not get to them.

Today, when I came home from work, I saw that I had 68 new mails, but
none of them were were accesible. After having restarted the program I
could read the new mails, but the 35 mentioned above was still in a
"secret room".

Have you experienced this problem? Do you know a solution?

It sounds like 2 things to me right from the top

1) Do a search for scanpst. exe and check for errors in the pst

2) Create a new profile
