shared mailbox doesn't display all e-mails

Hi all,

I'm experiencing the following problem with a shared mailbox. Outlook
2003+Exchange 2003 in action.

A shared mailbox was created, and currently it holds +/- 180.
If the mailbox is added to a user's profile (tested with 3 so far), only 7/8
mails are displayed in the inbox, although outlook shows +/- 180 unread mails
in blue.
No filters are in place.

However, if i create a new profile with the shared mailbox account, all
e-mails are displayed.

I tried to troubleshoot locally (new profile, ost, checked settings), but no
success. Furthermore, as i stated before. it happens with several
users/machines. The Exchange guys says everything is ok on their end...

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
david

Thank you!
That was it. Almost all e-mails were from the same person, I added the
"sensitivity" column and alas, all of them were marked 'private'!
I then tested by sending a couple of e-mails with different settings, and it
confirmed that this was indeed the root cause.

I always thought the importance and sensitivity options were basically
eye-candy, but after all they do play a role in certain scenarios, need to
keep that in mind.

Thanks again!
David

So in Outlook 07, do all the sensitivity settings work the same for shared
e-mails and the "hidden to others" feature: Private, Personal, and
Confidential???
