Nothing wrong with the Robin Reliant, what other car can you do a 3 point
turn in by asking your granny to get out and lift the front end up? <g>

Now I get it!!!! <lol>

For years I have run across "Robin" jokes and references from british
colleagues that made no sense. I just chaulked it up to their usual
gibberish.

There is one reference concerning a lame project that I particularly
remember. I just gave a chuckle... That has to be longest delayed laugh in
history.

Thanks Terry,

I've never used DDE (never even seen it), but I did know it was different to
OLE automation. I just figured automation was what the OP actually wanted.

"I've never used DDE ..."

You're just trying to make me really, really jealous now !

I had to write a DDE client module, using the Win API, for a VB dll, all
because the 3rd party program I had to communicate with professed to use
automation but it was broken meaning I had to revert at short notice to
using DDE. That was painful. I actually emulated the DDE functions that we
use in Access in order to simplify the process as it at least gave me a
coherent structure.

Sounds painful Terry. I guess I should be glad, huh!
