VBA to Hide Comments on Notes Page

John Michl

I'm trying to create a PPT that can be used to print both a participant
guide and set of facilitator notes. We use the Notes page to create the
participant guide (slide on top of page, exercises/notes at bottom.) I'd
like to be able to add some text boxes over the slide in note views that can
be turned off when printing the participant guide and on when printing the
facilitator guide.

I have some experience with VBA and Excel so probably could figure out what
to do in PPT if I'm given some direction and examples.

Any ideas?

Thanks - John Michl

This might be one approach, John.

Recolor "KEY" text in a presentation

It could recolor text in a specific "key" color to white, so it disappears
when printed.

Another approach might be to write a routine that adds tags to your "magic"
boxes that have the text in them.

Another set of macros could search all slides for shapes with the specific
tag and either hide/unhide the shapes.
