Verifying FP Update

C

Chris Kinata

Hi all...

Attempted to do the Office update for FP yesterday.
Didn't have the CD, though, and canceled the update.
I have the disk today, did the Office Auto Update scan,
and it reports that everything's been updated.

Feeling nervous about this, and want to make sure
the update really happened. The version number I have
is
FP2003 (11.6552.6588) SP2

So the SP2 at the end means that the Office Service Pack 2
was successfully installed, even though I didn't have the
original installation disk at the time?

Regards,
Chris

If it says SP2, that indicates it was successful.

The update doesn't ask for the original CD.

Hi all,

Thanks...Jen, it really did ask in this case, oddly enough,
which led to my query, as I believe I cancelled the installation.
Go figure...

Chris
