I too have had problems trying to create files in Publisher 2003, and the
trying to open them in earlier versions. I got a copy of 'CUTE.PDF' as a
freebie on the cobver of the latest 'Windows XP' magazine (UK) This is a
shareware programme for converting documents to PDF.
Works perfectly! So have been able to convert some of my publisher leaflets
etc to PDF, take them to work and print them out OK
