version incompatability

Pls help me I have just received a number of files via the
internet and when I try to open the files I get a version
Incompatability message.
I use publisher ver 97 and the files I am trying to
download "I Think" are version 2001 or possibily later.

There is no way to open the files in Publisher 97 from later versions.

If the files are not large and you only need to view them, I can convert
them to PDF and e-mail them to you.

I am just down the road around the corner then second on the right from you.

Thanks for the info. I have recreated the documents in 97
myself.
