Video .asf file doesn't play on projector

I am running PP 2000 SP-3. When I insert a .asf video into the presentation
and run from screen it works fine. When I display on projector I hear sound
but no video is projected. I also can still see the image on my screen. Any
suggestions - is this a projector issue? It is a newer projector by Sony.
