Is it posible to include a Video DVD (*.vob, *.ifo) in a PowerPoint slide?

No, not natively anyhow. The MCI player (used by PowerPoint) doesn't
support DVD playback. However you can manually insert the Windows Media
Player from the controls menu and then put the VOB you want to play in the
URL property. (This too has it's limitations.)

As an alternative, I've build an add in to deal with multimedia in
PowerPoint and one of the features included is the ability to play DVD's in
PowerPoint. We have a 14 free (fully functioning) demo available from
http://www.pfcmedia.com

Don't worry about the time limit, once the insert has been done it will
continue to work after the trial is done and even after it is removed from
your computer. (If you decide to remove it.)
