Video in PPT threatens life...

HELP! HUGE QUESTION...I have been trying for weeks to find a way to put an
mpeg file into PPT! I have PPT 2003/XP and, maybe the file is too large
(95.5 MB) but when I do a simple insert movie from file, the video doesn't
play (sounds great, though). If I need to scale it down or change it in any
other way so it will work (to play at the end of a looping PPT presentation
from a laptop in a client lobby) - I have MS Producer, MS Movie Maker, and
Adobe Premier (even though I don't know how to use any of them yet.) Can
anyone give me a quickie "how to"? PLEASE? Usually I can figure these
things out on my own, but I have been trying, reading, studying for weeks and
now I'm getting a little deserate. And it's due next week. Thanks SO MUCH
for your help.
