I opened a new PPT file and attempted to insert a MPG video. The video shows
up as a black square and will not play.
I'm running a new laptop with WIN XP PRO and PPT 2003. Winplay32.exe is
present and working in the machine
except with the MPG video files. When I open the file and click the Play
button, the file does not play but
jumps to the end. I rewind the file (7minute file), press play and once
again, it jumps to the end.
With PPT 2003 in my desktop, the inserted video always shows the first frame
and plays.
I called the laptop manufacturer and he referred me to MS knowledgebase
which was of no help.
The laptop is brand new loaded with XP Pro I installed my licensed copy of
Office 11.
What can I do?
