I want to view the resources of my project throughout the lifecycle.

So if my project runs from Jan 2009 to August 2009; and I have four resources;
R1,R2,R3,R4; I want see a display as follows:

Jan 2009-----------------------------------------------------August2009
<-------------------------- R1 ------------------------------------------>

<-------------R2-------------------------------------->

<----R3--------------------------------------------------------->
<----------------R4------------------------------------------------->

Can someone post the steps to do this?

- Thanks,
NK

NK,
I'm not sure what your example is trying to show. If you want to show
resource usage in a Gantt type display Project won't do it. You will
need to export Project data to a more graphic friendly application (e.g.
Excel). If you just want to see tabular data, then use the Resource
Usage view.

Hope this helps.

I have a display fromMS Project that I am trying to replicate that shows
which resource is used in which cycle of the project.

Not sure if it is a Gantt Chart:

ID | Jan 2009 | Feb 2009 ...........
|6/1|13/1|20/1|.......
1 |========= R1 =========================
2 | ========== R2 ===============
3 |======== R3 =========
4 | ========= R4 ================

Hi,

Insofar no task has more than one resource asigned to it, Group the Gantt
Chart by resoruce names
Project menu, Group by... , New, Resource Names, apply etc.
