I am trying to get the view to hold.
when you open a document for example and you try to insert a picture the
view we get is thumbnail, we want it to be detail view.
however each time you close the program and reopen it defaults back to
thumbnail?
how can i change this?
and is there a way to have it save the last location you used as the default
directory to open somthing from on the next time you open?

Hi D.D.,

You didn't include the app you're using or the version, but I'm guessing it's this issue with Word 2002 from Office XP.

If you haven't upgraded to Office XP Service Pack SP2 or SP3 you can use the macro solution from that article.
