Viewing a jpeg

I received an e-mail with what was supposed to be a photo embedded in the letter. However, all I got was this: <<Joe Michelle at dinner(1).jpg>>

Is there anyway I can view this without having to ask the sender mail it to me again?

Doubtful -- it looks like something stripped the attachment before the
message ever got to you.
