I'm encountering a strange phenomenon with messages I've bcc'ed people on.
To stay organized, I move all my sent messages from Sent Items to
categorized folders (keeping all send and received messages on a topic
together).
When looking back at messages in those folders that I've sent and bcc'ed
people on, most do not show the Bcc field when I open them; however, I've
found one that does. The only difference about this one is that a "You
forwarded this message on [date, time]..." bar is at the top. Can I conclude
that only forwarded messages will display the Bcc field?
I'd really like to be able to see the Bcc field for all my sent messages,
regardless of where they're stored. When I open most of them from the
topical folder I stored them in, an option "Bcc Field" appears under the View
menu, but it is greyed out. However, with the forwarded message mentioned
above that shows the Bcc recipients, the Bcc Field option under View has a
checkmark beside it, but remains grayed out.
Does anyone know what's going on and if there is a way to change a setting
or option so that Viewing the Bcc Field is a user-controlled selection?
