Using Outlook 2000/Win 98

When viewing news messages I get all the messages, replies included
How do I set it up so that the original message shows up, and th
replies are read by clicking on the original message

Since Outlook's newsreader is Outlook Express, please ask in a newsgroup for
Outlook Express.

However, I don't believe OE can present news that way.

As Brian said, this is an Outlook Express issue (assuming you're using the
default newsreader for Outlook). But you can keep your threads "collapsed"
by default by going to Tools | Options, clicking the Read tab, and clearing
the checkbox for "Automatically expand grouped messages."
