Viewing Notes

Someone told me that it is possible to view the notes during a presentation
without the audience seeing the notes ? Is this possible and if so how ?

I hesitate to suggest this, but I have done it myself:

Use two laptops:
project from one and use the other as a notes Autocue.

This worked really well, but in my case I had a co-
presenter demonstrating and projecting on the other laptop
and flipping over to the slides, so I had no need to
advance both.
