Geoff Baillie

I just upgraded to xp and the photo's I could see inside
my emails now will not view, inside the email.

How do I set Outlook 2002 so as it will show pictures like
the earlier version ???

You can't.

And note; it is not "like the earlier version". Outlook Express and Outlook
are complete separate programs ;-)

It doesn't - it is to protect you - as when you download
images it sends a "BEACON" to tell the sender that you
have a valid e-mail address - or something like that
anyway.

Not true, that is for pictures that are being collected from the Internet.
Outlook 2003 has this security feature that blocks the automatic retrieval
of pictures from the Internet. Pictures that are embedded are still being
displayed in the message.
