visio professional trial version

I just installed a trial version of the visio professional edition at home.
I got a product ID and everything installed ok without any errors. But when I
open the visio application the first panel opens but I am unable to create a
new file. In the meantime the activation wizard keeps popping up and says my
trial version expired. Its supposed to be good for 60 days. Can someone help
before the 60 days are over.. Thank you

Hi lpa,

I'm not an expert on trial versions, but it sounds like this one has a set
time-period...maybe it was part of the Office Beta and was intended to be
used during the time before Office was available for purchase...?

I have seen both types of trials: those that are good for so-many days from
the time of installation, and those that have a set expiration date.
