Visio2003 should support ps and eps formats.

I have used older versions of Visio at my work place and found that software
one of the best. I downloaded a trial version of Visio2003 and found that it
does not support PS or EPS formats anymore. I tried to print to file with
Adobe postscript driver but the quality is not good at all. EPS is required
with Latex and I have not found any other good XP tools for that. Should I
change to another OS? I will not buy Visio2003!

Looks like Microsoft is taking a different track. They have indicated
that Microsoft Office 12 will support PDF generation. I hope the PDF
feature would be extended to Visio as well.

Adobes PS-Driver isn't the best for printing PS to file. It ignores all
color gradients which are often used in Visio shapes.
According to some discussions I found via GoogleGroups the best printer
driver for creating Postscript is the "Apple Color LaserWriter 12/600"
which comes with Windows XP (and 2K?).
Another alternative is to use the Adobe PDF Printer driver if you want to
use it with pdflatex.
