Want to have picture open on a seperate page?

R

Richard Desjardins

I have a webpage that contains a number of pictures. The pictures on
this page are thumbnails. Currently when a visitor clicks on the
thumbnail it opens up a new page replacing the gallery page and the user
must hit the back button to return to the thumbnails.

What I would like is for the selected thumbnail to open up a new page
with the full size picture and have the gallery page still open.

Thank you

Right click on the each thumbnail and choose "Hyperlink Properties" from the
dropdown menu. Then choose "Target Frame" from the Edit Hyperlink wizard and
then Click on "New Window". Finally, click on "OK" until you're back at your
thumbnail page. If you already have all of your pictures posted on the page,
you'll have to do this for each thumbnail. If you only have one picture
posted and you're going to do others than click the "Set as page default"
check box on the Target Frame window to have all subsequent thumbnails
automatically use the "New Window" as a default target.
You will have to do this every time that you create one of these pages.
