Want to invert text

M

Mel

I have a daily diary in a word document. January first is at the top of the
document and the latest date at the end. I would like to invert it putting
the latest date and the top and January first at the end. Is there a way to
do this?

That will depend - how are the dates entered. 1-1-04 or January 1, 2004. If
they are entered as the former, you might try using the sort feature under
the table menu. You'll need to highlight everything first.

It shouldn't matter how the date is written, you can sort by date provided
that each entry is a separate paragraph. If there are sub paragraphs then
you are going to have to switch to outline view and set the levels of the
sub paragraphs so they can be collapsed before the sort.
