watermark in Microsoft Word 2003

[HELP ME]

I created an doc and put a picture watermark in it. It prints out fine. The
problem is I want to email it . When I email it, my picture watermark
disappear. I am using Word 2003 on one computer when i save it and take it to
another computer the text shows up but without my background watermark
pictures. How can I save the document with the text and background pic as it
is to email and open on other word programs? I'm not certain what year word
program is on my 2nd comp but it should be newer then 03.

I also would like to turn the my original file with the picture background
and text into a PDF. Thanks in advance.

yeh,
what i would do is not to send that layered document as a .doc attachment. I
would print it
to PDF and send it instead.

I don't remember what freeware is out there that can do this, But I think
its called firefly or firefox or something like that. I was impressed with
it but had no need for an extra program for pdf's since I have adobe.

Another thing that might help is to send the .doc file as a zip file.
