View | Header and Footer. Select the watermark and press Delete. If the
watermark is not accessible from the Header, then it has been anchored to a
paragraph on that specific page. Close the header pane, display the Drawing
toolbar, click on the Select Objects tool (big white arrow toward the left
end), click on the watermark, and press Delete.
