WAV not working

Hello, I have a .ppt with a wav-file embedded (not linked). It worked
fine, but when I reinstalled Windows 98SE, it stopped working. I have
other ppt with sound and they all work fine. I've tried listening to
the first ppt on another machine, and no trouble, either. Can anybody
tell me which could be the origin of the problem? I can listen to
wav's without problem....

Can you listen to your WAV files in the MCI Media Player?

Go to Start/Run and type in mplayer.exe Does the WAV play in that media
player (the MCI Media Player)?
