Way to prevent ID number from displaying on printout

Using Project 2003, is there a way to tell the program not to print the ID#
on the left?

I am trying to keep my projects on one page if possible and have to make the
adjust to normal size about 70% and could make it larger if this column
doesn't display.

Thanks,

Tom

Tom,
Yes. First display the view you want to print and then go to
View/Table/More Tables. The active table for that view will be
highlighted in the More Tables window. Hit "Edit". In the lower left
corner of the Table Definition window, uncheck the option to lock the
first column. After applying that change, hide the ID column in the view.

Hope this helps.

That worked pretty well. I can just do this each time I print and then put
it back when done.

However, after hiding the column (rightClick/ hide column) - I can't seem to
get it back. How do I do that?

Thanks,

Right click on the header of the left most column. From the context
menu select "Insert Column" and choose "Indicators" as the column type.

That was it.

I found a slight problem with this. It works pretty well, but now I can't
select the row and move it. It only selects the cell. Is there another way
to move the row or do I have to check and uncheck this column when I want to
print or move columns?

Thanks,

Tom
