WBS Page Size

Everytime I use the WBS wizard the document in visio is on size a4 paper and
spans multiple pages. I would like it to go to a single 11x17 page. Can
this be done? How?

hi Debra,

Wether the WBS can fit on a page or not will depend on the size of your WBS
and the levels of the WBS that you need to represent.

Adjusting the timescale, for exmple using MONTHS as units instead of WEEKS
or DAYS can help adjusting the WBS on the page. Also consider whether you
need all the WBS elements or just the top level summary tasks.

I guess I should clarify my question. I want to set the default page size to
something other than A4.

Hi Debra,

I think you'll find that the A4 setting is changed within the printer setup.

I can't seem to get that setting to stick. I am doing it from page setup -
printer paper. It all seems fine but the wbs wizard consistently generates
a4 size. Any suggestions?

Try from the File menu/Print/Properties/Setup tab and select other than A4.

Tried that - it still reverts to a4.

In that case, the only idea I have left is to examine Visio in more detail
to see what the settings are there. I don't know Visio so I can't help
further, sorry
