WDS Crashed when Outlook is opened

Windows XP 32 bit.
This system was running Office 2007 B2TR. Office 2007 was uninstalled using
Add/Remove Programs prior to installing Office 2007 RTM. Since then when the
user opens Outlook 2007 a message pops up 2-3 times noting that WDS has
crashed. I installed the latest version from Microsoft Update (optional
updates) and the problem persists. Any ideas? Should I reinstall Outlook?
