I would like to allow people to access a specific web page in my site
without having to enter the .htm extension. How do you do this?
For instance, instead of them having to enter www.myweb.com/gohere.htm I
would like them to be able to just enter www.myweb.com/gohere
Thank you for any advice that you can give me.

Make a folder named gohere. Create a page in it and name it index.htm
Then www.myweb.com/gohere will automatically open that page.

You can't do it without the full file name. Would a link
from your homepage work? If not, it really shouldn't be
a problem for them to type .htm! Don't beat yourself up
by trying too hard.
