Web upload and view

Dear Common Wisdom,

I saved my ppt as a web page and uploaded the files generated to my web
site. However, when I type http://www.mywebsite.com/pptfilename.htm I only
get an error message.

I created a new dir and named it as the support file PP generated and placed
all the support files in it. The other file generated,
pppresentationname.htm is in the root dir.

I've found absolutely no instructions on up loading a ppt to the web
(whether or not the ppt file is necessary, etc) either in the program or at
Mssupport on the web.

Any help?

Hi

When you Save As Web Page PowerPoint makes a file with .htm extension and a
folder. Move both the .htm file and the folder (don't change the name of
either one) to your server.

If you use an FTP program (such as Fetch or Transmit) follow the
instructions given by the program for moving files.

If your web server drive is mounted on your desktop then simply drag the
files or select the appropriate server drive location as the Save As
location.
