I have finished my website and when i upload it to my ftp and open in IE it
is so far to the right i cannot see it, i have to scroll over and its there.
I need to know how to align my page to the left so that it is visible when
the page loads in IE.

There should be a folder "index_files" containing the supporting files.
That folder and it contents needs to be uploaded to the server. It should
be a subfolder with the index.htm where you saved it if you use FTP.

The reason the pages are off to the right has to do to the fact that your
are using the FREE space from godaddy

Yes because;

"Your site will display content to the right or left of the ad banner if
your HTML code uses absolute positioning. Absolute positioning allows you to
specify the exact placement of an HTML element on the page. Because absolute
positioning conflicts with the placement of the ad banner, it will cause
your site to display incorrectly and should not be used.

To resolve the issue, open your Web site in the application used to build
the site and remove the absolute positioning, then re-publish your Web
site." - GoDaddy Help.

And,,,Publisher uses Absolute positioning to create your web.

Any way to change the html coding to NOT be absolute? Or does this take took
long?

Nearly impossible with Publisher, since it's not a html editor. You could
try opening the html files with an html editor, but it would take longer to
try and fix than to just redesign in another editor. There are some hacks
you can try, but they don't always work AND you'd have to recreate all the
hacks every time you make a change to your web design.
