....writing on the left side of invitation... I noticed that there was no
writing on the right, which looked kinda strange.. then I gotten to thinking
that maybe it would look better if there was just writing in the center.. so
I clicked my mouse on TOOLS to see if I could find the 'Graphic Designer
Dood'.. just as expected except for the fact that Publisher 2003 doesn't
have a 'Graphic Designer Dood', I noticed the word HELP along the top bar..
so I thought about what I wanted, and typed 'centering text' into the HELP
search box.. this is what I found..

Align text within a text box

"Horizontal alignment determines how the left and right edges of a paragraph
fit between the left and right margins of a text box, while vertical
alignment determines the placement of the text within the text box
vertically.

Align text horizontally

Select the paragraphs for which you want to change the horizontal alignment.
On the Format menu, click Paragraph, and then click the Indents and Spacing
tab.
Under General, in the Alignment list, click the alignment you want.

Align text vertically

Right-click the text box for which you want to set vertical alignment.
On the shortcut menu, click Format Text Box.
In the Format Text Box dialog box, click the Text Box tab.
In the Vertical alignment box, select Top, Middle, or Bottom."

Text within quotes courtesy of the Microsoft employee who probably spent
hours typing this and other help stuff out in draft such that people like
you could completely ignore it..

Are you using the folded card page setup? (4.25 x 5.5)
The left side of the invitation will be on page 2. The back of the card is page four.
Publisher automatically will print pages 2 and 3 upside down so when you fold the
card it will be correct.
