Hi,
We have a problem with a few mailboxes since we migrated to Exchange 2003
(from 5.5 SP4). Here's the issue.
If we open the mailbox of the user, everything works A1. We can open,
delete, move items with no problem.
However, if I open my mailbox (I'm administrator, owner of all mailboxes
through a group), then ADD the user's mailbox to my Outlook profile (as a
secondary mailbox), then I can't access her folders, EXCEPT for the ones
that are not the default ones (ie. it crashes with Inbox, Sent Items, but
doesn't crash with a subfolder of the INBOX folder, that was user-created).
When I say crash, I mean more like freeze; I get the hourglass and nothing
happens (I left it there for half an hour before I had to terminate the
Outlook.exe process).
That's on Outlook 2002; if I try in Outlook 2003, I have no problems at all.
Now, we use outlook 2002 SP2; I tried upgrading one workstation to SP3, with
all the udpates available on officeupdate, to no avail.
The problem was reported because that user has a delegate which was having
the issue. We deleted the delegation, but to no avail (anyway, I'm not a
delegate of her, I'm owner of her mailbox, and I get the same issue). Also,
we tried, before AND after updating Outlook 2002 to create new Outlook
profiles, to no avail either.
Anyone has ever encountered this ? I did a lot of Googling, even checked on
MS Premier (we have a subscription), and didn't find anything useful.
Thank you !
