what do I do when prod. key no. is not accepted for outlook usage

My laptop (toshiba) came loaded with vista which has already loaded outlook
and word...however when I go to use it, it requests a product key no. I have
repeatedly typed the no. given in and it is repeatedly rejected...I can not
use these programs without it...what do I do to rectify this?

If you are looking at the sticker on the bottom of the laptop, look closer.
That's the one for Windows, not Office. If you purchased Office (rather than
to assume the trial is a full version), then call Toshiba and ask them where
the product key is located.
