What is a good count up and count down timer program to download for use with
Office XP Pro?

Office XP is a suite of applications for producing documents and
managing data. What might I ask would a "count up and count down timer
program" have to do with it?

There may be a timer built in to XP somewhere that one of the readers knows
of. I don't know where to find it if it is there. I'm looking for a timer
that is compatible with Office XP and that won't introduce viruses or spyware
into my PC.

And WHAT DOES this "count up and count down timer program" have to do
with Office?!?!?!?!?! Count timing what up or down???? Your question
doesn't make sense given the content, context or phrasing!

Bob I,
I think you're reading too much into this post. It's a simple topic. I'm
looking for a counter that I can run from my Desktop to count things I work
on, such as projects I consult on. I also want to find out if such a useful
tool is built into one of the Office Suite programs.

There's this new cool thing on the Internet called a search engine. Google is a
good one. Entering "countdown timer Windows" into Google returned 127,000
results. I'm betting the usual 6-pack of my favorite brew that you can find
what you're looking for among those.

Cheers,
John
