what is a sub-bullet item

Can someone tell me what is a sub-bullet item and how to make it appear on
your powerpoint presentation and also what does Float means and how do i
make it appear on my presentation. Thanks

Not sure about "float" but a sub-bullet most likely refers to bulleted text
lines like this:
- This is the primary bullet
- This is a sub-bullet (an indented bullet)
- This is another primary bullet
- Etc.

Float? Fish do it, bees do it, even blossoms on the breeze do it ... oh,
blast, I've left my tap shoes at home, I'll have to stop now.

In addition to the poetic answer Steve already gave you: There is an
animation called "Float". To use it, click on the object you want to
"float" (that could be all of the items mentioned above, but also simple
text), then choose Slide show - Custom animation - Entrance animations, it's
in the "Exciting" section.
