What Is Indicator In Date Field

In MSP 2003 w/SP2, I'm tracking down the impact of several changes that I
made to a schedule and discovered a small grey triangle in the lower right
corner of the Start and Finish cells for the series of tasks that seem to be
the problem. It's not a tool tip or other mouse-over type object.

Can anyone tell me what this indocator is?

Robert,
Those little triangles indicate paste links in those fields. Hopefully
your schedule does not have very many of them and hopefully they are for
hammock tasks and not links to other files (project or otherwise).

Paste links are very fragile and can easily become corrupt. If you click
on a cell with the link indicator and then go to Edit/Links you will see
a table of the sources for each link. But unless you really know how to
work with paste links, (they require a good deal of discipline and care
to avoid corruption), I suggest you get rid of them.
