what is the colon between two commands in VB

E

Eli Eiberg

I’m reviewing VB code, I see the “:†is used between two commands. Can
anybody tell me what the colon :)) represents.

Note sure exactly what you mean...you should post a sample of the code
so we can better understand.

But if you mean like this:

Selection.EndKey Unit:=wdStory

If represents an individual argument.

If that's not what you mean, post an example so we can understand what
you're trying to ask.

The colon could also just be to seperate two commands on a single line like-

msgbox "Error" : Print error

Best bet is as Dian says post the code and we can give better info.

Thank you Tony & Dian, Tony actually answered my question. An example of the
code is as follows:
tText cmd: tEnter: wCur sCurAt
where tText, tEnter & sCurAt are method names.
