In fact, if you have the latest updates installed, Help - About (in Word,
for example) reports that it's version 11.6502.6408 SP1 (different
applications can report different incremental versions).

Here is my Microsoft Office 2003 version (recently updated to latest
updates):

11.6359.6408 (Service Pack 1)

That is the version which is displayed in each module of Office 2003's
"Help/About"
