What Mac browser can see the Premium OWA client in Exchange 2003?

SysAdmin

We are using Safari on OS X and IE 5.1 on OS 9. We found some problems
with IE 4.5 so upgrade to the latest is probably wise.

But these two browsers can't see the 02k Premium OWA client. They can see
the basic.

We are using IE 5.0 here on Mac OS 9.x

Seems to work fine but there can be trouble with the SSL certs if they are
not public i.e.) Verisign or like. using a server generated cert with IE 5
will not allow the sll page to load.

You will also have a dumbed down version of owa in comparison to the win ie
6 version which looks and feels just about the same as the app client with
office 2003. however it will work. screen resolution should be set at
1024x768 to view all the page as well.

hope that helps,

IE on Mac provides only basic level of OWA connecting to any mailbox on
Exchange 2000 or 2003 Server. These are called Down-Level clients as they
don't provide the full feature-set which OWA uses (like most scripting
features/functions/languages, etc.) , as they are platform based. Windows OS
provides those features to IE on Windows thus IE on Windows provides richer
experience in OWA, while these are totally absent on Mac platform thus IE on
Mac cannot borrow them from underlying Mac OS.

I don't think there is any browser out there which will provide you Premium
OWA (E2K or E2K3) experience on Mac.
