I recently moved/upgraded to a new PC. I migrated the email.dot template
from my old PC to the new one (both ran Office 2003), but the template fails
to take effect as it did on the old system. The only email.dot on the new
system was in c:\program files\microsoft office\office11\1033. I renamed it
and used my old template, but it doesn't work. I tried also putting a copy
of the template into two other directories that had it on the old system:
c:\program files\microsoft office\Templates\1033
c:\documents and settings\myusername\application data\microsoft\templates
Still, having the template it all three locations, it fails to have the
effect I'm looking for (just changing font size and color). Can someone
please tell me conclusively what directory this needs to be in, and how to
get it to work? Thanks.
