What's the best way to retain Newsgroup messages

I notice that Outlook Newsreader automatically deletes old messages. What is
the best way to retain old messages?

Is there some option in one of the menus I could select? I would like to
keep them for future reference.

On a related note has anyone kept some sort of best solutions list that I
could look at?

In Outlook Express, select "Tools" | "Options..." menu item, select
"Maintenance" tab at the top in the Options dialog box, clear the "Delete
read message bodies in newgroups" and "Delete news messages" checkboxes.
This will retain the news messages.

You can search on Google too. It archives all news messages.

Tosime,
Why don't you make a new folder and copy the interesting messages to that
folder.

Thanks Luc.

I had to kick myself when I read your message. It's amazing how you can't
see the obvious solution right in front of your nose!

Oh, no need to kick yourself for asking -- that's the smart thing to do!

Actually, you really will want to copy/drag messages you want to keep to
another folder, because Outlook Express doesn't really keep the messages. If
you have to reset the newsgroup for any reason, messages that are no longer
on the news server also won't showup in Outlook Express (because they're
really not there any longer).
