When I insert a picture in Word, only a blank placeholder is appe.

I have re-installed Office 2000. Since then I cannot insert a photo or
graphic into Word Docs. Have looked through the options and preferences, but
haven't found anything I can check to alter this.

Anybody know please?

In Word, click on Tools | Options | View | check the "Drawings" box and
uncheck the "Picture placeholders" box | Print | check the "Drawing
objects" box | OK. Does that help?
