When I send an e-mail I would like the "contacts" to come up first (when I

I did not say that was an outlook version. The software was purchased 2 weeks
ago, therefore it is safe to assume that it is the 2003 version (and it is).

That is not an Outlook version.

But I asked you for your Outlook version. Why would you answer with "Office
Pro?" Don't make us try to read your mind. In Outlook 2003 it is easy to set
which folder displays first: In the Address Book > Tools > Options...
