when I try to install office 2003, it locks up.

When i am trying to install office 2003 pro, it stops responding before I can
enter my reg. code. I have tried unistalling and cleaned regeristry out as
microsofts help page suggested. This is a reinstall of a new program.

try this
start > run > cmd
in black window type "<drive letter of disc>followed by colon ", press
enter.
type "setup.exe PIDKEY=<25 characters of PK without spaces and dashes, all
in caps>" press enter.

sorry about the late reply, been working. tried this and it still didn't
help. i think i will do a format on the drive and start over. i only have
about 200 gig of info to copy first.
