Where can I find OUTLOOK performance issues and fixes?

I am having OUTLOOK performance issues, the biggest problems is when I go
into ACTIVITIES it has to rebuild each time, taking a long time each time.
What are OUTLOOKS suggested limits of emails/tasks/contacts. Any
re-organizing of files to help? I do use COMPRESS all the time. Have gone
to book store and tried reading many books, no answers yet. any help would
be great, CRAIG 706-335-5375
