Where do I store custom data?

Hi,
This is in project2003 (not server).
I have a need to store a couple of Id's at the project
level. They are unrelated to resources or tasks. Is there
a collection or property that I can use to store these?
I looked at teh BuiltInDocumentProperties and the
CustomDocumentProperties collections, but in vba neither
of them seems to work or be recognized.
Any help would be great.

If you just have a few you can store them in the Project Summary task in one
of the available custom fields (Text1-30 etc.)
The project summary task is always task 0.
The fields you mention SHOULD work though. What are you trying to do? What
is not as you expect?
