Where does Project 2000 look for Templates in network environment

I've created a Project template file (.mpt) and want other users on the
network to be able to see this when creating a new project. How does Project
determine where it searches for project templates in a network environment ?

It doesn't search for templates. It just looks in the file which is set.

Go to tools menu/options and look at the save tab. It shows the default
location for templates. You would have to adjust this for all your users to
point to a common location.
