where is my outlook data when I upgraded from Win 98 to xp home

When I upgraded from Win 98 to XP Home I had to reinstall my MS Office 2000,
now I cannot find my Outlook data. Does MS-Office remove it on a reinstall??
Or did I lose it on the Windows upgrade?

Neither would touch your Outlook data file. Search for files with a PST
extension. Open each in Outlook until you find your data. Make sure your
search includes hidden files.
